What is a Glutathione Push?

ABOUT THE INFUSION

A glutathione push delivers glutathione through an existing or newly placed IV line, administered by licensed clinical staff.

Before treatment, our team reviews your health history, medications and goals. We’ll explain the proposed treatment, available evidence and potential risks so you can make an informed decision.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Inside the treatment.

Glutathione

Glutathione is the active ingredient in this treatment. It occurs naturally in the body and participates in antioxidant processes.

Your provider will explain the prescribed dose, preparation and any additional ingredients before administration.

What benefits can you expect?

Glutathione plays a role in the body’s antioxidant defenses. However, that natural role does not establish that an IV push improves energy, immunity or overall wellness.

Evidence for injectable glutathione’s advertised wellness benefits is limited. Skin brightening, anti-aging and “detox” results should not be assumed.

Our team will discuss the evidence, limitations and potential risks in relation to your goals.

Is this infusion appropriate for you?

A consultation can help you understand whether glutathione fits your care. During your assessment, we’ll review:

  • Your reasons for considering treatment.

  • Your medical history and any current symptoms.

  • Medications, supplements and allergies.

  • Other treatments you are receiving.

If you are receiving cancer treatment or specialist care, speak with your treating clinician before considering this add-on.
