A practice that sees the person behind the concern.
ABOUT US
Seeking care is personal.
You may be navigating a new concern, managing an ongoing condition or looking for a place where you feel comfortable speaking openly.
At Heart Own Medical Services, we begin by listening. We consider your health history, what you are experiencing today and what matters to you as we discuss the next steps.
Our practice offers psychiatric medication management, therapy, Spravato treatment, primary and non-emergency urgent care, IV hydration and lab services. Each service begins with understanding your needs and determining the appropriate path forward.
OUR PURPOSE
Support for your mental and physical health.
Your mental and physical health can affect how you feel, function and move through everyday life. Having behavioral health and medical services within one practice helps us consider those connections.
Our purpose is to provide thoughtful care with clear communication and respect for your individual needs. We want you to understand your options, feel comfortable asking questions and have a voice in your care.
OUR APPROACH
Care that listens. Decisions made together.
01.
Your concerns deserve attention.
We take time to understand what brought you to our practice. Your symptoms, experiences and questions help shape the conversation about your care.
02.
Information should be clear.
We explain recommendations in language you can understand. You are welcome to ask about your options, what treatment involves and why a particular next step is being considered.
03.
Your comfort matters.
Our approach is evidence-based and trauma-informed, with consideration for your history, boundaries and preferences. We encourage you to tell us what would help you feel more comfortable during your visit.
04.
Care should reflect your needs.
Your care plan considers your health history, current concerns and goals. Follow-up conversations create opportunities to discuss how you are doing and whether your needs have changed.

Inclusive care
You deserve to feel respected here.
Heart Own Medical Services welcomes patients of different backgrounds, identities and experiences.
As an LGBTQ+ affirming practice, we respect your name, pronouns and identity throughout your care. We want you to feel comfortable discussing your health, relationships and concerns without having to justify who you are.
If you have questions about accessibility, communication preferences or your comfort during an appointment, please let our team know.
